What we built together
Overview
Arbitrum is the rollup technology built by Offchain Labs to scale Ethereum. Arbitrum One went live in 2021 and has been one of the largest Ethereum layer 2 networks by activity and value locked ever since, home to a deep DeFi ecosystem. The network is governed by the Arbitrum DAO through the ARB token.
What stands out
- DeFi depth. Perps, lending, stablecoins and onchain trading with real liquidity behind them.
- Stylus. Developers can write smart contracts in Rust, C and C++ alongside Solidity.
- Arbitrum chains. Teams can launch their own chains on the Arbitrum stack and settle to Ethereum.
