Spark
Onchain capital allocator in the Sky ecosystem, putting stablecoin liquidity to work across DeFi, CeFi and RWAs.
01 / THE WORK
What we built together
Overview
Spark started in 2023 as SparkLend, a lending market inside what was then the Maker ecosystem and is now Sky. It has since grown into an onchain capital allocator: a protocol that takes stablecoin liquidity and puts it to work across DeFi, centralized venues and tokenized real world assets.
Its current tagline sums it up well: institutional capital, intelligently allocated.
What stands out
- SparkLend. A lending market for borrowing stablecoins against major crypto collateral.
- Spark Liquidity Layer. Automatically deploys stablecoin liquidity where it earns the best risk adjusted return.
- Savings. Simple stablecoin savings products that pass that yield on to users.
- SPK. The governance and staking token that aligns the community with the protocol.
Why it is on this list
Stablecoins are crypto's most successful product, and the question of where their yield comes from matters more every year. Spark is one of the biggest answers to that question.
The best yield is the one you understand.
